Summary of Our Stallion Service Agreement

You need to pay a "Booking Fee" for Stallion Frozen Semen service processing and shipment, so we can schedule our Stallion's inventory.  Your Booking Fee will be applied against your Stud Fee.  For frozen semen (since we have this in Nitrogen tank storage), you need to pay the $100 booking fee and confirm your order by either emailing us or phone call :  Just order the frozen semen and send your check or buy online at Semen page in our store.  If you are just paying the Booking Fee you may also go to Booking Fee and pay the $100 online.

The following is a summary of the major points contained in our on-site STALLION SERVICE AGREEMENT.  A detailed Agreement document is available for your review on request.  To obtain a copy of this Agreement, you may E-Mail us to request a copy via either an Adobe PDF file document (or) a hard-copy mailed to you via the USPS.

  Special Notice:

Timing for artificial insemination is critical with horses and close coordination between the supplier and recipient of semen.  Additionally, procedures for A.I. with horses are very specific and must be followed closely to increase the mare's chances to become pregnant.  The reader should review the information provided on A.I. provided by Shipped Semen and Select Breeders for further details on the A.I. issues.

Cooled and Frozen Equine Semen Information

Artificial Insemination of horses is considerably more tricky than A.I. with cattle.  This is primarily due to a horse's heat cycles as well as  semen processing and management techniques.  Nitrogen frozen semen can theoretically last indefinitely as long as it remains on nitrogen storage.  Frozen semen is shipped via UPS Ground from Shamrock, TX.   Frozen semen shipped in a Nitrogen Tank with 3 day return (UPS Charges roundtrip paid).  The following factors can affect the success of a mare's artificial insemmination:

*  Quality of the Stallion's Semen

*  Competence of the Employee collecting the semen

*  Timing of the collection with mare's heat cycle

*  Shipping company transporting the semen

*  Health and ease of the mare getting pregnant

*  Semen handing at the destination (and thaw techniques for frozen semen)

*  Competence of the Veterinarian (or other professional) with A.I. Techniques
