"Diamond" (pasture name) is a black TWH mare by a son of "Prides Generator", out of a daughter of "Prides Secret Threat". Diamond is about 15 HH and has great bloodlines, including "Pride of Midnight HF", "Ebony Masterpiece", "Midnight Sun", "Pride of Stanley", "Spirit of Midnight", "Skipper Son Midnight", "Sun's Delight D.", "Triple Threat", and "Merry Go Boy", among others. Diamond had five fantastic foals for us: "RAF Copys Midnight Secret," "RAF Cajun's Secret Pride," "RAF Cajun's Sunny Spirit," "Cajun's Zatarain, and "RAF Santa Fe Gold Sunrise." Diamond now has a very nice palomino colt by "SANTA FE SUNRISE" a beautiful Palomino "Walker's West" Stallion who is now deceased. Her new stud colt is already showing good size to him... he will come close to being 16 hands: he was sold to Mike & Susan in Amarillo, TX. She has exceeded our expectations with quality, excellent temperament foals! On April 10, 2008, Diamond had a very large colt which was stillborn. The birth was difficult for her; however, our Vet said she has recovered fine. As a result, we are not re-breeding her. She is being offered for sale as a mature riding mare. She has also been taken on a trail ride and out-walked some quarter horses! She intelligently negotiated her first creek crossings without incident. As another fine offspring of our own breeding, she displays the calm, manageable disposition of her sire, "Mack K Shaker's Cajun", a bay stallion. Sunny had a great looking filly on April 11, 2008 who appears to have the sweet disposition of her dam. Her sire, a palomino Stallion, "Dusty's Royal Flush" was DNA tested as a "Dark Palomino with a Silver Mane and Tail, Dapples and Chocolate Leggins with an Agouti Gene" by the University of Kentucky Lab.
