Tanasi Topaz Goldmine

We have brought in a new "Foundation" bred "Heritage" certified mare #70 in March of '11. We are excited to have this rare opportunity to do so.

Topaz has tested to be a double agouti cremello mare.  She is confirmed bred for her '12 foal.  It might be possible that the '11 cremello (with 2 agouti genes, and a blaze) stud colt could be for sale depending on the sex of the '12 foal. When the '12 foal is born then we will know for sure.

She is now carrying either a cremello or a palomino baby.  ("The Buck Starts Here", is the sire of the '11 cremello colt.) Full siblings to the cremello colt have sold all across the United States for good monies.  (Her pending '12 foal is not for sale.)

Topaz is being scheduled to have a buckskin foal for '13 that will be offered for sale.

Sunny is a coming 7 year old mare who has been saddle trained by Walker's West.  She is my personal trail buddy!  We didn't get to trail ride much in '10 due to my surgery but '11 is starting off better.  As another fine offspring of our own breeding, she displays the calm, manageable disposition of her sire, "Mack K Shaker's Cajun", a bay stallion.  In larger groups while trail riding Sunny is not happy if she is not up with the leaders of the group and shows her motor. Yet by herself or in small groups she is laid back and easy going.  Able to follow a child's pony or keep up with the leaders of the group, she is an awesome trail horse.

Sunny has managed to outdo herself big time in 2010.  She has a fancy stud colt foaled May 27th, that is outstanding.  Due to his sire being diagnosed with cancer we will be using his son, "Stetson" as a future replacement.  Stetson is a looker and carries himself proud just like Sunny and Chance aka Dusty does.

Sunny had a great looking filly on April 11, 2008 who appears to have the sweet disposition of her dam. The '08 filly now resides in Maryland.  Her colt/filly's sire, our palomino Stallion, "Dusty's Royal Flush" was DNA tested as a  "Dark Palomino with a Silver colored Mane and Tail, Dapples and Chocolate Leggins with one Agouti Gene" by the University of Kentucky Lab. Due to Sunny's fancy lit up '10 colt we now believe that the roaning that we see on Dusty/Chance is due to some form of Sabino gene. As Sunny or Sunny's sire and dam have no sabino markings or roaning themselves.
