These females are currently in production:  Mature cows as well as first calf heifers.

Our girls are the heart of our herd, they are half of the genetics of their calf. As such we have carefully chosen each cow for several different reasons to work with both known sucessful crossings/blendings and also as an occasional test to further our own knowledge of what is possible within our own herd.

We are hanging on to most of our older girls until we have better knowledge of what our new young bulls "Red Magic 28" and "Rockytop Diamond" will bring to their matings.  We will be trying to hang on to several of the young girls in order to take our herd to the next level.

Most of the young calves will be for sale.  We are limited on pasture space, so speak up on our young calves as soon as possible. (A 25% deposit will hold them until weaning time at 6.5 months of age.)

 We will only allow our "top end bull calves" to be sold as breeding stock, (careful records are kept to insure this) and our surplus will be steered for pasture ornaments or held over to go into our beef program which best utilizes the resources of the Texas Longhorn offers as a valuable "grass fed beef " when they reach proper weights/age.
